King's Blacksmith Shop
Our story begins in the village of Elliotsville, Pa where my great grandfather Jacob King opened his first shop in 1895. Around 1900 he moved to Farmington, Pa along Rt. 40 where he shared a building with a tomb stone maker. He built his own shop a few years later along Rt. 381 in Farmington. In 1950 a new shop was built on the same property and was operated by my grandfather John King and my father Gene King. When My father retired in 2005 I took over the shop on a part time basis.
